Project experience

Retail painting across approximately 40 Kroger locations

Store-manager coordination, material planning, overnight interiors, and exterior storefront painting.

Experience across approximately 40 Kroger locations.

Marberk performed painting work at approximately 40 different Kroger stores as a subcontractor. The experience included overnight interior painting and exterior storefront work, delivered on fast schedules.

The contracting company supplied the elevations. Marberk organized the work on site: coordinating timing with store managers, determining material quantities, carrying out the painting, and communicating project closeout.

The work behind the finished space.

01 / Coordinate

Work with the local manager.

Marberk agreed on when the painting would take place with store managers, including night hours for interior work.

02 / Prepare & execute

Turn the elevations into site work.

We determined material quantities and managed the painting operation at the location.

03 / Close out

Communicate completion.

Marberk emailed project closeout to its contracting client, with authorization from the store manager.

Good work led to more locations.

The contracting company continued authorizing additional stores based on the quality of Marberk’s work. That continuity is part of how this experience grew to approximately 40 locations.

For a facilities or operations team, the useful detail is how the work was handled: local scheduling, material planning, execution, and a clear communication of closure.

Work was performed as a subcontractor to the company holding the projects. Store names identify the properties where the work took place.
