Questions before you call

Make an informed
first conversation.

Straight answers about multiple locations, night work, pricing, project responsibilities, and what to send.

Do you work with companies that have several locations?

Yes. Businesses with multiple locations are our primary focus. Share your location list, priorities, and expected timing so we can discuss the fit and a practical starting scope. A first project can be one location.

What is your experience with multiple stores?

Marberk performed work at approximately 40 different Kroger locations as a subcontractor. We coordinated timing with store managers, determined material quantities, carried out the painting, and communicated closeout to the contracting company with local manager authorization.

Was Kroger your direct contracting client?

The work came through another company that held the projects and contracted Marberk. Marberk managed the work in the field. The case describes that role, rather than a direct contract with the retail chain.

Can the interior work happen at night?

Our retail experience includes overnight interior painting. Tell us the hours available at your location. We will review the scope, access needs, and current availability before agreeing to a schedule.

How do you determine a reasonable price?

Price depends on the surfaces, their condition, preparation, materials, working hours, access, and project size. We discuss what is included so you can compare the scope behind the price. Any alternatives should identify what changes in the work.

Do you need a complete specification before we talk?

No. Start with your company, location or locations, a short description, and timing if known. Photos, elevations, or an existing scope are useful when you have them; you do not need every technical detail for a first conversation.

How are scheduling and local managers handled?

We discuss a local contact and working hours as part of planning. Our Kroger assignments involved agreeing when to work directly with store managers. Requirements for your locations are reviewed before the work is scheduled.

How is a project closed out?

Agree who reviews or authorizes the completed work and who receives the completion communication. Our retail process included store-manager authorization and an email closing the project to Marberk’s contracting client.

Which locations can you serve?

Our commercial work includes projects in Indiana and nearby states. Send the project cities and expected timing so we can confirm whether the location list fits our current coverage and availability. We do not promise availability in every market.

Do you also handle preparation and related repairs?

We review cleaning, deteriorated finishes, selected wood, stucco or EIFS areas, and other preparation needs with the paint scope. The agreed proposal identifies the work included; specialist issues may need a separate assessment.
