Name the local contact

Identify who knows the site’s activity and can discuss the practical work windows. Store managers, property staff, or facilities contacts often hold the information needed to plan the work.

Review available hours

Describe when people enter the work area, where activity continues, and any restrictions. Overnight work may fit some interiors, while other scopes require a different approach. Agree the hours for the actual project.

Identify the surfaces and adjacent areas

Walk through the surfaces included, nearby equipment, routes, entrances, and items needing protection. Discuss how preparation and painting will be organized around those conditions.

Agree the sequence and the handoff

Identify the areas that come first and what must happen before an area returns to use. Ask who will review completion and how the person overseeing several sites will receive that information.

Use relevant experience as a starting point

Marberk’s Kroger assignments included overnight interiors and exterior storefront painting. Marberk agreed work times with store managers, calculated materials, and communicated closeout to the contracting client with local authorization.
